最近，雙語部師生們參與了歷時(shí)一個(gè)月的“與好書相伴 Literacy Festival”活動(dòng)。在豐富有趣的閱讀節(jié)活動(dòng)中，學(xué)生們不但強(qiáng)化了閱讀習(xí)慣，也享受了閱讀的樂趣，可謂收獲頗豐。Recently,the  Bilingual Section teachers and students have participated in a one-month literacy Festival. During the activity there were many interesting activities.  The students not only enhanced their reading habits, but also enjoyed reading. It was a win-win activity.

最美的樣子莫過于讀書的模樣，一起來看看孩子們的閱讀美鏡頭。

看!在家里，在書店，在旅行途中，一切地點(diǎn)都是讀書的最佳場(chǎng)景。每一位孩子的照片和視頻都在一樓大廳的屏幕上滾動(dòng)放，看到自己的照片，他們別提多高興了!Reading is the best way to learn! Let's take a look at the students reading. Students are reading at home, at the bookshop, and even during a journey. They are all the best reading scenes. Every student's photo and video are rotated on the screen in the entrance hall. Students are happy to see themselves represented.

我們的“最佳筆記”Book Report活動(dòng)，讓愛好閱讀與擅長表達(dá)的學(xué)生可以盡情展現(xiàn)自我。 Story map、思維導(dǎo)圖，各種形式的讀書筆記呈現(xiàn)了學(xué)生閱讀之外的思考與體會(huì)。

The Book Report Activity makes the students who love reading express themselves better. Their book reports were presented in a variety of ways. There were story maps, mind maps,  and  some other ways. The students  reflect their thinking  and opinions through these ways.

看看我們閱讀月的活動(dòng)是不是夠豐富，夠精彩?總有一款適合你!每個(gè)孩子都能積極參與其中，每一個(gè)孩子都能找到展現(xiàn)自己的機(jī)會(huì)。Isn’t it wonderful and amazing? Choose one for yourself. Every student was an active participant. Everyone had a chance to present themselves and their thoughts.

從一年級(jí)到五年級(jí)，每個(gè)年級(jí)都會(huì)票選出自己最喜愛的書籍。

從班級(jí)內(nèi)的海選，到年級(jí)十強(qiáng)的PK，每個(gè)年級(jí)最終票選出本年級(jí)最喜愛的中英文書各一本，產(chǎn)生了2021世外“圖書天團(tuán)”，讓我們來一起揭曉榜單。From Year 1 to Year 5, each year level voted for the favorite book. The voting started from the class. Then there is a PK among the top 10. Each year level voted for their favorite Chinese book and English book. It came from the 2021 WFLPS book list. Let’s take a look!

對(duì)了，可不能忘了一展“書霸”風(fēng)采的Competition—“一閱讀”和“學(xué)樂”中英文線上測(cè)試大賽!

There also was a competition  for e-reading and a Scholastic reading test.

老師們?yōu)楹⒆觽兇蛟炝己玫拈喿x環(huán)境，在教室里布置了或溫馨或童趣的讀書角，讓孩子們能靜靜地在此進(jìn)入書籍的世界。讓我們來看看雙語最美閱讀角都長什么樣吧?

The teachers created a nice reading environment for the students. In the classrooms, there are warm and child- friendly reading corners. It provides the students a quiet area for reading.

在閱讀月閉幕式上，全體雙語部的師生欣賞了最佳讀書筆記的演講展示，各項(xiàng)評(píng)比競(jìng)賽的優(yōu)勝個(gè)人和集體也獲得了獎(jiǎng)狀。

On the Closing Ceremony of the Literacy Festival,The teachers and students admired the presentations of the best book reports. Some students   were awarded certificates for participating in the competetion.

古人說:腹有詩書氣自華。喜歡閱讀，就等于把生活中寂寞的辰光換成巨大享受的時(shí)刻。雖然讀書節(jié)告一段落，但閱讀這條美麗之旅會(huì)一直陪伴著孩子們走過每一個(gè)春夏秋冬。閱讀讓學(xué)生走向世界，閱讀讓世界走進(jìn)學(xué)校。There is a saying, “Reading makes people be charming.”Enjoying reading is to provide comfort and joyful moments to students. Though the Literacy Festival is over, the students will be encouraged to keep enjoying reading. Reading leads the students to the world. Reading embraces the world to school life.
