在慶祝中華人民共和國成立七十二周年之際，雙語部組織了名為“走遍中國”的愛國主義教育活動。活動以班級為單位，探究若干個省市。活動中，少先隊員們用心去看、去聽、去體會祖國日新月異的邊緣，見證祖國強盛的同時，也培養了責任意識、感恩情懷，弘揚了偉大的民族精神。

金秋時節，天高云淡，風和日麗。伴著祖國媽媽慶生的歡騰氣氛，世外小學雙語部一年級的學生走進中國“兩湖兩廣兩河山”。

“ 惟楚有材，于斯為盛。”人杰地靈的湖南湖北在中國哪兒呢？這兩個省都有“湖”字，到底是指哪一個湖呢？又有哪些有趣的事物等待我們去發現呢？讓我們側耳聆聽一A班學生的介紹

Where are the nice places—Hunan and Hubei? They both have a“lake”. Which lake is it? Are there any interesting things waiting for us to find out?  Let’s listen to the introduction from 1A students.

湖南湖北有名樓：洞庭湖上岳陽樓，長江南岸黃鶴樓。孩子們有的搭建模型、有的繪畫；一邊向“游客們”展示作品，一邊向他們敘述建筑背后的故事。

There are famous buildings in Hunan and Hubei: Yue Yang Tower on the Dong Ting Lake and the Huang he Tower on the bank of the Yangzi River. Some students built the models, some drew the pictures. They were telling the stories behind the buildings while presenting the work to the “Tourists.”

湖南湖北美食多，看著孩子們做的熱干面、剁椒魚頭……你是否饞涎欲滴？

There are many delicious foods in Hunan and Hubei. Look at the noodles, the spicy fish head...are you hungry?

湖南湖北不僅風光秀麗，而且人文底蘊深厚：美麗幽靜的神農架、青山環抱的張家界、古老神秘的鳳凰鎮、北有木蘭替父從軍、南有紅軍縱橫馳奔……

The view is beautiful in Hunan and Hubei and it is full of culture. The pretty and quiet Shen Nong Jia, Zhang Jia Jie which is surrounded with green mountains, and the old and mysterious Feng Huang Town are places that reflect our culture. The northern place is where Mulan replaced her father to join the army. The southern place is where the Red Army marched!

欣賞著孩子們的手工制作，聆聽著他們的探究成果，心中不禁感嘆道：祖國的山河因你們更壯美，祖國的未來因你們更可期！

While admiring the hand-made work from the students,and listening to their research, we appreciate he beauty of our motherland. The future belongs to us all!
