World Earth Day - Love and Protect the Birds
在422世界地球日，整值得第40屆愛鳥周到來之際，為宣傳“人與自然和諧共生”的理念,推動公眾支持和參與鳥類保護工作,普及野生動物保護相關法律法規知識，上海自然博物館研究員何鑫博士為世外小學的同學們帶來了一場主題為“撿拾躍動的音符，親享魔都的野趣”鳥類科普宣傳講座。
On April 22nd - World Earth Day, was the 40th Loving Birds Week. In order to advocate the theme of “Sharing the planet between the human beings and the birds” is to promote public support and protect birds. It also raises awareness of our wild life and how to protect it. A Shanghai Natural Museum researcher Dr.He Xing, gave a lecture about “Picking up the floating notes and enjoy the fun of the wilds in Shanghai”.
鳥兒是人類的好伙伴，飛掠的身影是大自然最靈動的野趣。何老師結合自己的研究經歷，用生動的語言，由淺入深地向同學們講解了上海市常見野鳥的種類分布、習性和保護級別及自己在科研工作中的生動事例。Birds are the best friends of human beings. They belong in Nature. Teacher He used vivid language and linked his research experience to introduce the ordinary kinds of the wild birds within Shanghai. He talked about their habitats, and how we can protect them. He shared his research using several case studies.
講座采取直播的方式，同學們認真聆聽，隨著講課的深入，逐漸認識到了鳥類是人類的朋友，是自然生態系統中不可缺少的成員，以及鳥類在維護自然生態系統平衡方面發揮的重要作用。講座結束后，同學們紛紛表示獲得了更多關于鳥的知識，也增強了護鳥意識。The lecture is lively. The students listened carefully and gradually they realized that the birds are human being’s best friends and that they are a part of the ecosystem. The birds are affected if there is not a balance of the natural ecosystem. At the end of the lecture, the students had more knowledge about birds and were aroused towards protecting the birds as well.
當天回到家，同學們紛紛拿起畫筆，描繪著美麗靈動的鳥兒，并在班級圈交流學習心得。讓我們用實際行動保護鳥類，保護我們共同的地球家園。When the students went back home, they picked up a painting brush and drew some beautiful birds. They shared their thoughts about the lecture. Let’s take action to protect the birds and protect our home - the Earth!
