12月14日，世外小學國際部腰旗橄欖球校隊與浦東明珠小學隊進行了一場腰旗橄欖球交流賽。綠茵場上，少年們以蓬勃熱血詮釋著純粹的體育熱愛與競技初心。

On December 14, the Flag Football Team of the International Division of Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School (WFLPS) took part in a friendly exchange match against Pudong Mingzhu Primary School. On the green field, young athletes brought passion, courage, and sportsmanship to life, demonstrating their love for the game and the true spirit of competition.

相較于浦東明珠小學隊在陽光大聯賽中屢獲前三名的輝煌戰績，世外小學國際部腰旗橄欖球隊無疑是賽場上的“新生力量”直至上周才迎來首次校外標準場地的適應性訓練。盡管備戰時間緊張、條件有限，教練組仍根據不同年齡段特點制定了精準戰術：U6、U8以跑球為核心，強化突破能力；U10則嘗試傳跑結合，側重短傳配合的默契打磨。隊員們珍惜每一次訓練機會，從基礎動作到戰術執行，都以最認真的態度投入，為這場友誼賽積蓄著力量。

While Pudong Mingzhu Primary School brought years of competition experience and top-three finishes in the Sunshine League, the WFLPS International Division Flag Football Team stepped onto the field as a newly formed squad. The team had completed its first training session only a week before the match.

Despite the tight preparation timeline and limited training conditions, the coaching team carefully designed age-appropriate strategies. The U6 and U8 teams focused primarily on running plays, strengthening individual breakthroughs and speed, while the U10 team began experimenting with a combination of passing and running, emphasizing short-pass coordination and teamwork.

The players valued every training opportunity. From mastering basic movements to executing tactical plays, they trained with focus and determination, steadily building confidence for their first major friendly match.

賽中激戰：熱血拼搏 亮點紛呈

陽光照耀下的賽場，激戰一觸即發。U6組別率先登場，小將們將跑球戰術發揮得淋漓盡致。進攻組主力Logan與Bradon如同靈動的獵豹，配合默契地突破防線，多次帶球直沖得分區，成為賽場上的“得分雙雄”；防守端的Sean則展現出超強的預判能力，拔旗精準、區域防守調整迅速，一次次成功攔截對方進攻，為隊伍筑牢防線，最終助力U6組拿下勝利。

Under the bright sunshine, the competition began with high energy. The U6 team took the field first, executing their running-based tactics with enthusiasm and confidence. Offensive leaders Logan and Brandon, agile lik cheetahs, worked seamlessly to break through the defense and sprint into the end zone multiple times, earning recognition as the team’s “scoring duo.”

On defense, Sean stood out with his excellent anticipation and awareness. Through accurate flag pulls and quick adjustments in zone defense, he repeatedly shut down the opponent’s advances, playing a key role in securing a victory for the U6 team.

U8組別的比賽更添一份堅韌與感動。跑鋒Freya帶球沖鋒時與對方防守球員激烈碰撞，倒地后疼痛難忍，被扶到場邊休息。就在大家以為她將提前離場時，僅休息兩檔的Freya便堅定地向教練請纓：“我能上場！”重新回歸賽場的她依舊拼勁十足。

The U8 match brought moments of resilience and inspiration. During a powerful run, Freya collided with an opposing defender and fell to the ground in visible pain. Assisted to the sidelines, she rested briefly. Just two plays later, she looked at the coach and said firmly, “I can play.” Returning to the field, she continued to give her all, embodying determination and courage.

Laura、Justin與Julian組成的防守陣線同樣給力，嚴格執行戰術指令，精準卡位、果斷拔旗，用嚴密防守多次化解危機，雖憾負對手卻贏得滿堂喝彩。

The defensive trio of Laura, Justin, and Julian also delivered a strong performance. By strictly following tactical instructions, maintaining effective positioning, and making decisive flag pulls, they repeatedly neutralized offensive threats. Although the team narrowly missed a win, their performance earned warm applause from the audience.

U10組的隊員們則在傳跑結合中展現成長。金海娜的成長肉眼可見！無論是區域防守的整體把控，還是關鍵的拔旗環節，都比平時訓練表現得更為出色，用實力證明了自身的突破與蛻變；進攻組主力Ethan憑借精準短傳和靈活跑位串聯起全隊進攻，多次組織有效攻勢，讓人們看到了這支年輕隊伍的無限潛力。

The U10 team demonstrated clear growth through their use of combined passing and running plays. Jin Haina’s progress was especially noticeable — from her improved control of zone defense to her confident flag pulls at key moments, she exceeded her usual training performance and showcased fantastic progress.

On offense, Ethan played a central role, linking the team together with accurate short passes and intelligent movement. By organizing multiple effective attacks, he highlighted the promising potential of this young and developing squad.

據悉，世外小學已在校內常態化開展裝備橄欖球與腰旗橄欖球特色體育課程，此次校隊組建正是學校推廣這項運動的重要舉措，旨在以賽促學，激發更多學生對橄欖球運動的熱愛。

WFLPSID has been steadily integrating both tackle football and flag football into its regular PE curriculum, and the formation of the school team represents an important step in promoting the sport on campus. Through competition-based learning, the school aims to ignite students’ interest and passion for football.

對于一支組建僅2個月、訓練條件有限的隊伍而言，能與老牌勁旅抗衡并展現出如此頑強的斗志，已然是一份亮眼的答卷。這份成績的背后，是學校領導的鼎力支持，為隊伍提供堅實保障；是教練與老師的悉心指導，打磨戰術、錘煉技巧；更是家長們的默默守護，成為隊員們最堅實的后盾。相信在各方同心聚力下，這支年輕的橄欖球隊必將在未來的賽場上，綻放出更耀眼的光芒。

For a team established only two months ago and training under limited conditions, standing confidently against an experienced opponent and displaying such resilience and teamwork is already a remarkable achievement. Behind this success is the strong support of school leadership, the dedicated guidance of coaches and teachers, and the unwavering encouragement of parents who serve as the team’s strongest foundation.
